Bogdan Klinkosz

DVM, Owner, Veterinarian

Dr.Bogdan Klinkosz came from Poland in 1993 as a Research fellow for the Dept. of Neurology, Cleveland Clinic, to do research regarding amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He conducted many experiments that culminated into a large scale clinical trial in North America and helped advance the treatment for that illness.

After 5 years, his desire to help animals and the joy he received from the interactions with clients and their pets proved to be a major factor in changing career paths. He is a fully certified DVM in USA, Canada, and in the European Union. He studied in Poland, Germany, and Sweden, and has prior education in Pharmacy. Dr.Bogdan has a special interest in ophthalmology and alternative medicine. He is a member of:

Office Manager

Laura is a local girl who was raised in Shaker Heights, who attended John Carroll University and Ursuline College with a major in business communications. She has over 15 years of veterinary management experience and has a lifelong passion for animals. She has rescued both cats and dogs for over 30 years and is currently the pet parent of four rescued dogs and cats. She is also a married mother of three amazing sons, and has six grandchildren. In her spare time, she volunteers in compassion ministries at her church, spends time with her family, hikes, bakes, gardens, sews, and enjoys Dunkin Donuts mocha macchiatos with whipped cream.


Veterinary Technician

Tiphani is originally from southern Ohio, later moving to Madison to work on furthering her education. After completing her bachelor’s degree at Lake Erie College in 2017, she moved to Columbus to attend the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School. She finished her veterinary technician program in March of 2019 and plans to take her VTNE this summer for certification. Tiphani has always wanted to be in the animal care field. She currently has three cats, three dogs, and six horses. In her free time, she enjoys riding motorcycles with her boyfriend, riding her horses, and her fair share of Taco Bell.


Veterinary Assistant

Emmily attended Cleveland State University for two years with a focus in biology. She plans on finishing her degree in biology in the near future, and pursuing a career in the veterinary field. She is a proud mom to a German Shepherd named Romel and a cat named Olive. During her free time, she enjoys horseback riding and hiking.


Veterinary Assistant

Miranda has grown up with dogs. Working in a clinical setting each day is different with new adventures/challenges. She has a Bachelor of Science in biology and plans to attend veterinary school. Her love for all animals has influenced her desire to attend veterinary school. It is a dream she has had since she was 5 years old. She has a chocolate lab named Remi. And, her favorite food is pierogis.



Rachel recently moved back to the greater Cleveland area with her husband, Willy, and two sons, Avery and Miles from a small island off the coast of North Carolina where she worked at a Skydive Operation. She has an Associates degree in Human Services Management and finds gratification in helping others. She has a rescued dog named Dudley Earl, a cat named Frances Chelsea Dixon, and a red bellied parrot named Emanuel Pigford the Bird. In her free time she and her family enjoy hiking national parks, camping, playing in rivers, and swimming in quarries. She is passionate about music, crystals, and the people in her life who inspire her to be the best she can be.



Nicole was born and raised in Lake County and grew up with many pets. She has had a passion for animals her entire life. She is a self-proclaimed “crazy cat lady” and loves spending time cuddling with her two cats, John Connor (aka JC) and Quill. She enjoys a good glass of wine and Starbucks grande nitro cold brew.



Kaylee was born and raised in Utah. She moved to Cleveland in 2018 with her husband, John, after he was accepted into Case Western’s dental program. Kaylee has a bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in criminal justice. She has always been passionate about helping others, whether it be animals or humans. Some of her hobbies include skiing, eating Chick-fil-A, playing board games, and reading. She also loves snuggling with her goldendoodles Cosmo, Finn, and Newt.

Paula Gillen

Kennel Assistant

Paula was born and raised in Perry. She lived on a farm with lots of animals, where her love of animals was fostered. Paula is a married mother of four wonderful children and five grandchildren. She has a passion for rescued animals and helping them find forever homes. Her newest family member is a rescue named Buddy. Paula has compassion and passion for people in need. She serves as mission coordinator at her church, as well as helping with their connection meal. She also works with the local Teen Challenge facility. When she is not working with the community, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to parks and enjoying the beach.
